The new variety of carrot, BetaSweet™, includes all the important health and taste factors for anyone who does not want to do without conscious, healthy nutrition. Hardly any fat, low calories, and a lot of nutrients that are important for healthy living. While orange-colored carrots are known for their high amount of beta-carotene, which is known for its positive characteristics with respect to nutrition physiology, the BetaSweet™ variety of carrots contains about 40% more beta-carotene. It therefore makes an important contribution to healthy eyes, smooth skin, and healthy-looking hair.

When cut open, the inner core of a BetaSweet™ carrot shows an inviting orange-colored center. The BetaSweet™ owes its dark purple outward appearance to anthocyan, a natural secondary plant substance, which is also found in red wine, currants, black grapes, and eggplants. Anthocyans intercept free radicals in human cells and participate in energy transmission processes. They have antioxidant effects and reduce human blood pressure, and thereby help in prevention of cancer and heart attacks. Numerous medical studies have proven this.
